Roving Reporter

Roving Reporter asks a professor: "What do you think about podcasting?"

Dr. Jon Lovett-Doust Biological Sciences "I see it as the way of the future. I see a lot of opportunity here and I can't see why we won't soon move to all classes being podcast."

Here's what some of his students had to say...

Peter Rizk "...some students might have appointments or other midterms that they need to study for, and they might not be able to come to class...I think that's an excellent advantage."
	Crystal Abbas "...we are allowed to get a better understanding of what we missed in class, even though we weren't really there."
Elie Rizk "I think this podcast is 'podcastic!... I don't think anything's wrong with it. It's fast, you put it on the iPod - it's, like, good."
	James Herdman "...it allows me to take home essentially the core of the lecture material, and digest it in a way that you just simply cannot do during class..."
William Tashakor "...the only disadvantage I would say is that some people...don't go to class, and think they can just listen to it, but I think they should do both."
	Gebe Ligotino "...If I miss anything in class, I can just go on-line, listen to the entire lecture...it allows me to catch up on anything I missed, that I didn't hear in class."
